Reporting Abusive Usage
SimplyAsk, the creators of Symphona, have a zero tolerance policy for abusive usage of the platform. If you notice organizations using Symphona for malicious or abusive purposes, you can discreetly report it to our team who can help take care of it.
In this article, we will cover the two ways to report abuse of usage on Symphona, specifically:
- By Chat Widget (Agent)
- By Email
Method 1: Chat Widget (Agent)
Every Symphona chat widget has a “Report Abuse” button. To access this button and submit a report, using an example widget, first click on the gear icon in the bottom left corner of the widget you would like to report.
Once the Settings card opens, click on the Report Abuse blue text on the bottom right corner. After doing so, you will be taken to a web page where you can provide additional details and submit your report.
Method 2: Email
Any email you receive sent by the Symphona email service will include a link at the top of the email with text “Report Abuse”. Upon clicking on this link text, you will be taken to a web page where you can provide additional details and submit your report.
